Dataportability 소개 - 데이터 공유를 위한 웹 플랫폼

DataPortability.org - 이미 존재하는 데이터 공유를 위한 기술 표준을 이용하여 플랫폼 간의 데이터를 공유할 수 있도록 여러 업체들이 함께 가이드라인과 정책을 마련하자는 취지랍니다.

DataPortability is a group created to promote the idea that individuals have control over their data by determing how they can use it and who can use it. This includes access to data that is under the control of another entity.

The DataPortability project intends:

• To be open to anyone, whether individuals, companies or organizations
• To reach resolution by consensus
• To have transparency in decisions
• To prefer collaboration of existing efforts over invention of new technologies

아직 구체적인 방안이 마련되어있는것 같진 않지만, 이 조직에 구글 페이스북 등이 참여의사를 밝혔다고 하네요. 취지는 그럴듯한데, 음,,어떤 모습이 될지 기대~~
